“you mean you have other words?” cried the bird happily. “well, by all means, use them.”

And the winner is...
just got off the phone with dean zimmerman, and now it's official: i'm starting in the fall as a phd candidate in philosophy at Rutgers The State University Of New Jersey. it's a little scary.
Huzzah for Jefe! (what is it with everyone from BCC going to the East Coast? I guess it means I'll have more people to go out and visit when I see Patti.) But Congradulations!!!!
Congrats on your decision! Will you be at the New Brunswick campus? And if you'd like to know who I am and/or how I wound up on your blog: 1) Stanford/IV and 2) I don't remember what I followed to get here.
Hi! Do you know me in real life? I was in the Trancos bible study my junior and your freshman (I think) year. Apologies for popping up here abruptly - I'm still trying to remember what link I followed to get here. Again, congrats on your grad school decision. I grew up near Rutgers, and it's a nice area. NJ's not as horrible as it's reputed to be. :)
oh, jess! gosh, it's been a long time. you can feel free to pop up here as abruptly as you like. thanks for the reassurance on NJ. are you still out there these days?
ps. probly more convenient than blog comments would be emailing me. my address is moc.liamg@llessur.t.ffej, only the other way around.
